The film starts with the premise that it's based upon a true story, a fact that is underlined a bit further in. So with this in mind, I put my faith in the director and watched to the end, thinking that all the many weird and vague loose ends would be tidied up at the end.
Except they weren't in the slightest. Possibly I missed some subtle clues or there was a subtext or message that I missed. Maybe I need to watch it again, something that I most definitely won't be doing!
To make matters worse, it appears there is no record of the true story anywhere online, so it's just a load of confused, made up scenes with no reward of payoff or punchline for those that stayed to the end. Shame as the camera work and atmosphere was promising in places
