It's rarely that I feel so moved by a story, the journey these two take you on shows how real life is messy and complicated. How sometimes we lose sight of what's important and get caught up in the motions. The finality of the last scene brought me to tears as the storm settles down when both of them come to terms with what has happened and are willing to move forward knowing where they stand.

it was an amazing remake, took me back to the original version without focusing too much on the tragic death of Mofasa. some might say it was too light hearted or didn't give enough tribute to the first movie but i think it has held its own in a pool of remakes that just didn't cut it for anyone. would definitely recommend watching it.
