When I lived in NJ I had subscriptions to the Metropolitan opera and the New York Opera for ten years. As an Opera lover it was heaven. Now as a retired person living in PA, I was so happy that the opera was available in simulcast at local theaters. Unfortunately that came to a screeching halt with the COVID pandemic. It is the greatest opportunity. For anyone who loves opera or for those are seeing it for the first time. I look forward to it returning this fall. This is the way to enjoy Opera and it is affordable. If you can afford it the Metropolitan at Lincoln Center it is a magical experience.
