when my child was in pre-school I mentioned to his teacher that I saw an article in Parent magazine: 'the Challenging child' & it seemed to describe my child & she then referred me to the book 'The Difficult Child'. I obtained it and found it very helpful. I found he was not nearly as difficult as some & some of his behaviors were temperament - not my bad parenting due to being an older mom etc.
