This is a really sweet and funny holiday rom-com. I love it and it's a new classic in my house.

Light, refreshing, honest, wholesome, sweet, balanced. I loved this movie. It's just so different from anything being made today. It captures a simpler time, but a stage in life that feels very complex. It shows that how a mother thinks about her womanhood affects her daughter, without being preachy or finger-pointing. I think the actors were wonderful and the director's deft touch and reverence for this story really came through. I'm seeing it in the theater again with a bunch of people and can't wait!

I love Jillian Bell. She always brings something fresh, honest, and relatable to every role. Plus she's just hilarious. In I'm Totally Fine, she broke my heart. I loved her pairing in this quirky, charming movie with Natalie Morales. Can I get just one more day with both of them?

This show is so captivating from beginning to end. Kudos to Mike White and this cast. Watching it a second time and still enthralled. Love the bigger messages within it too. The character of Quinn really transformed and is the heart of this story for me. Jennifer Coolidge and Molly Shannon, two of my absolute favorites, have never been better. Murray Bartlett is perfect, as he was in Physical. This actor should be cast in everything now. Jake Lacy and Alexandra Daddario were fabulous, really nailing every scene. Natasha Rothwell is put through the ringer by all these rich white folks and their "problems". She's even better here than in Insecure. Even the smaller role for Kekoa Scott Kekumano hooked me. Steve Zahn and Connie Britton, terrific, really as always. Sydney Sweeney and Brittany O'Grady are both thoroughly believable as obnoxious, sanctimonious, cruel, immature, conceited college students with nothing but a big "FU" for the world. I hated them but they were brilliant to watch.

Riveting. Soul-crushing. Horrifying. Extremely well acted. Between all the recent drug deaths and now over 700,00 Covid deaths (both known undercounts), the pain and suffering in this country will both haunt us for many decades to come. If I think of all the children who have lost a parent or sibling to these tragedies, my heart will break. A great piece to accompany Beth Macy's book and the HBO documentary. I sincerely thank Hulu and everyone involved in this critical piece which should be required viewing for all. It has really helped as the sister of a former heroin addict.
