Kenneth Branagh tells this classic Agatha Christie tale as a straight arrow. Comparison to the earlier version is inevitable, especially if you are a fan like me of the earlier Poirot. What makes this worth the view is the stellar cast and the natgeo style camera captured cinematography. And so, despite having read the story a hundred times and seen the earlier version many times, you are still edgy at the climax. In the end, well done KB, both as actor and director.
