I have never, not once, reviewed a film. Mainly because I have never felt moved or compelled by most to do so ( unless we count I am Sam or A Beautiful Mind or several others that have moved me but I felt the reviews did them justice. ). I see now, for whatever reason, to save this movie from the reviews and give it a piece of my heart, the way it gave me. ( cheesy yes, true yes ).
I think the reason you see one star here, and furthermore the reason why critics rate this movie so low, is that many critics seem to belittle the simple notion of this emotionally moving film that offers complexities, enlightenment, with both modern and timeless romantic ties. I found this film a beautiful mosaic of entangled stories that uplift you. Not once did I have a criticism while watching it. Beautiful.
