Love Rashida so I gave it a shot; hilarious! Pleasantly surprised Kenya is so good at this role. Don’t worry it’s not cringeworthy like watching Tyler perry star in his own movies. And Multiple valid perspectives on life, race and blackness.

Although fun, creepy and creative this movie was all over the place...Mostly felt like he would’ve done himself a huge service by focusing on the one tethered family leaving all the other shadow people for the sequel. Really, the ending felt like it should have been the ending for the THIRD movie!
