man haven't gotten very far into the book cuz the friggin AUTHOR'S NAME (narcissist) and TITLE of the book - ALL IN CAPS - are at the bottom of each page is FRIGGIN ANNOYING!! totally OBNOXIOUS!! and oh yeah - please tell me why is it that EVERY FEMALE CHARACTER in these "man" mystery, murder, suspense books is immediately described by her physical attributes while she's along side her male counterparts "assisting" them ..."she was blond (heaven forbid she be a brunette) and even in a business suit had curves that would catch any man's attention"... "the blond attorney"... "her pretty face and deep blue eyes had not escaped his notice"... "her petite but shapely body"... "he had to concentrate on ignoring her"... SICKENING, DISGUSTING and not only is the story lame and predictable the juvenile writing is pathetic...

as always, predictable and clichéish: "they fell into each other's arms (mother and daughter)." and too many improbabilities, like the mother getting to ride along with police officers with s.w.a.t teams waiting at the sight, and the petite mother and daughter manage to pull free from s.w.a.t. and police officers (who are trained to subdue much larger and stronger men) to run to each other and fall into each other's arms - i don't think so. the ending is smarmy, all wraps up too smoothly and quickly, no tension, no climax, no feeling for the real thing/situation. more of a young adult's book.
