I really don't see why this has such bad reviews - what do people expect from this horror? It isn't meant to be a documentary! The story is fair enough and the performances, notably of the father and his possessed along with the priest hold up. The special effects are also pretty good considering that this movie was made in the early 1980s and even look good today. Entertaining and an opportunity to have a couple of 'creeped out' moments, which i think are mission accomplished.

Excellent series, like a Twilight Zone for the children! Well thought out stories without profanity, excessive violence/bloodshed or nudity. Each story has meaning to it and is poignant for it's target audience. Of course, one could be cynical and write off the series as being tame or even predictable, however, it is a children's show!
