A revenge movie with lots of violence, all necessary. Good to root for the good guys. Most movies today, even good ones, have terrible endings. Apparently, because the writers lack the skill to finish the story. Not so in this case. The ending was perfect.

Yes, the plot sucked and the ending was terrible. But the characters had good chemistry. But why, oh why, do they always manage to stop the wedding in time.

I am incredulous at the number of five star reviews. Just because it’s based on reality, doesn’t mean it makes for a good movie. The acting was decent; the plot was terrible with constant negativity. Overall, this was a grossly depressing movie.

The movie was about fraud. The greatest fraud was perpetrated on the people who watched the movie. No plot, terrible dialogue, zero acting. I am embarrassed that Antonio Banderas and Meryl Streep were in this disaster.

Those who criticized this movie for lack of authenticity, need to remember this is entertainment, not a documentary. There is such a thing as artistic license. This movie was certainly entertaining.

Some critic compared this movie to a beach novel and said it didn’t require much thinking. LOL This has the most intricate plot of any movie I’ve ever seen. Because of that and the synergy of the characters, it is a delight .

Nothing shows how clueless the critics are, than this film. Nothing wrong with a feel good movie. Good character chemistry, surprisingly energetic music, even a bit of humor.
