Great premise, terrible execution. Ruined yet another war story. The ever intrusive background score takes away most of the visual experience. Terrible VFX, very slow and not gripping at all. The only bright spot I is the performance of Abhay Deol. And yeah, the battle sequences are completely butchered. The personal side of a soldier’s life is a good touch, but executed, you guessed it, terribly. Overall, when you watch this, you watch it for the story of a last stand that was never told this widely. If you want to watch a1962 war drama, do watch Muttina Hara, in Kannada, it’s riveting.
