Too many plotholes, and every scene was obvious, and plodding. Will did the best he could with the script as did Rosario.
Too many used tropes, and no twists; completely formulaic, with no real substance. Recommended to me to watch, and I'm happy to have done so as I can enjoy Mr.Smith's much more substantive movies, now.
Technically pretty good, but lacking in other character's development, which overall makes it hard to recommend. I can see where a re-write might save the plotline, as it HAS heart, but no body.
I found much more depth in Smith's "Hancock" portrayal. Regardless, his talent is only being scratched by Hollywood.
The fact that I'm also a writer probably skewed my subjectivity, but that's why we all have our opinions, isn't it? ;)
