Movie has a threadbare storyline. It's about the mental struggles of an upcoming female singer. The movie tries to be a Classic and suffers heavily from a Sanjay Leela Bhansali Hangover, aka ghostlike sets, unnecessary use of hues and cinematic effects to create feeling of psychedelia that the protagonist suffers from.
Tripti Dimrii is a discovery and is an ace. I couldn't understand what is the fuss about Babli Khan's acting, other than him being Late Irfan Khan's son.
Music is good, esp. 'Phero na najar se najariya' is one song that truly stands out.
Final Verdict: Skip the movie and watch songs on YouTube. Thank me later !
