I watched Warcraft a while back, and it still sticks with me as one of the most visually stunning fantasy films out there. Directed by Duncan Jones, it brings the world of Azeroth to life in a way that feels incredibly immersive. The CGI is top-notch, especially the orcs, who come across as not just believable but emotionally deep characters.
What I loved about Warcraft is how it tells both sides of the story. You don’t just have the humans versus the orcs—it’s more complicated than that. Characters like Durotan, the orc leader, really draw you in as he tries to save his people from destruction. It’s not just a simple good vs. evil story, which makes it even more engaging.
The action scenes are intense, with epic battles and magical elements that make them a lot of fun to watch. While it didn’t get the attention it deserved in theaters, I think it’s a film that has the potential for more, and I still hope we get a sequel someday.
If you’re into fantasy or ever played the Warcraft games, this movie is definitely worth checking out (again). It’s a visual treat and a solid story that leaves you wanting more from Azeroth.
