Ok I am a fan of both the book and the original mini series. But this so far given the current world we live in this series is totally relatable. Yes it does jump around to current time line to the Boulder free zone and flashes back. I can still follow the story with no issues. Yes I am a huge Alexander Skarsgard fan so his casting as Randall Flagg drew me in to want to watch this series. I am going to give this a chance as another take on the story. The only cast member I have issues with is Amber Heard no need for an explanation as to why I have an issue with her. So far I am giving these first two episodes 4 stars. I will watch this whole series with no judgement until the end. I would hope others would do the same.
