It was a beautiful movie and one that I hold dear to my childhood heart. Sadly the movie did not deliver the emotion that I remember, even when rewatching the original now. The voice acting, aside from Mufasa, Timon and Pumbaa, and a few moments with Scar were a huge let down for me. It almost seemed as if the movie were a joke from the creators. So much effort went into the beauty, that the story ultimately suffered for it. My heart yearns still for the movie I loved so much once upon a time ago.
