I love a good horror movie, but this predictable, cliche-infested crap isn't. Bad dialogue, silly plot and tedious stereotypes abound. Skip this dreck.

Very offensive, over the top story about a radical racist who is investigated by a young FBI agent who goes undercover and doesn't seem to believe he's all that disgusting. Clumsy and silly story.

Beautiful scenery and I like the lead actress, but the story is just too farfetched. Suddenly the lead character becomes a serial killer because her husband was allegedly murdered, and she zooms around on his motorcycle looking for clues, then killing the people she believes were involved - in gruesome ways. Cheap gross-outs, including scenes of our heroine in her day job as a mortician, and a silly plot ruin a series with such a beautiful setting and talented actors. I felt bored and cheated, so I didn't finish watching it.

Reading the subtitles in order to understand the narrative just got too tedious so I stopped watching.

Awful movie, you will be wondering why this dimwitted woman didn't simply get the guy's license plate number and call the cops. Instead, she doesn't do anything until after he's already killed 4 people. It makes no sense. It's a very ugly gore fest that I don't recommend to anyone.

Tediously trite. It's yet another version of the hundreds of horror films I've seen in my lifetime. For creepy pool scenes, watch Burnt Offerings instead. It's also got Bette Davis and Oliver Reed in it.

Boring, lacking in scares. Full of racial stereotypes. And Glenn Close is a cartoon. What a waste of talented performers in a dumpster fire of a movie.

It bored me, to be honest. These police procedurals tend to be too similar to each other, and the flaws and plot holes are just too distracting.

Funny that I saw it in 1989 and liked it. I'm watching it again as I write this, and I think it's silly, contrived, and the characters are stereotypes. The dialog is hokey nonsense reminiscent of Twister. James Cameron seems to be more interested in spectacle than in good scripts. Eight years later he made the equally silly Titanic, with spectacular sets and special effects but with a silly script.
