While it leaves out much of the lore of the video games and comics, the core we all know and love is still there. Typically the fights matter, and hold weight in the story. Josh Lawson stands out as Kano, not just for how the character is written but believable rage in his performance. Dont let nostalgia grab you, this is a superior film.
