I was so excited about this show being rebooted. I loved the original and knew this would be different with only 3 original cast members, but I was not expecting this. It’s like the creators are trying to put as many gratuitous sex scenes in as possible. I don’t know if I’ve seen another show this graphic. The old one had sex scenes of course, but there was a build up of passion beforehand. Most new characters have no depth and are just drinking and sleeping around. The old show began with a variety of character development that I think this one is lacking (Tina and Bette trying to have a baby all the way to straight Jenny). I am continuing to watch it because I really want it to get better, and I love the old characters. I just don’t have much hope.
