Disclaimer, this is a review coming from someone who has never played a Metroid game other than this one. As my first Metroid game, I can't really properly say it's better than other games in the Metroid franchise. But, I CAN say that the gameplay was very entertaining and kept me on edge every step of the way. From the surprise boss battles to the "emergency in sector 3" countdown, I found myself in shock every time. There was no "I expected that." Everything was totally unexpected for me! It even got me sobbing at some point with compassion. And if a game can make you cry, It's good. It gets super suspenseful and tense as you make your way through the game, and once you complete it, you feel like you've accomplished something great!! You feel as if the galaxy is finally at peace. And it was all thanks to you. Thanks for reading my take on this game! uh see ya on the flip side! ???
