Awful awful awful..it made me want to go to sleep, never got going, half of it was too dark to see, so disjointed build up to a bad ending…if I could give it zero I would not a thriller, or scary..whoever has said it was good in the reviews below..must be bonkers….Nic cage looked like a woman in drag…and his voice just made you still see nic…the acting was terrible on all counts from everyone. It bored me to death, my friend actually fell asleep through it, we are both big fans of scare movies, and this did not deliver at all. I’m actually appalled, half the cinema left walked out in the middle of it and I just sat there laughing at it. Not quite sure what it was supposed to be and what it was achieving clearly a film with an identity crisis, so don’t waste your money. I’d rather Sit and watch paint dry.

Omg why did they bother I loved Sex and the City, this fell flat on its face, barely any humour any type of proper storyline and very depressing… I’m middle-aged but my God they depressed me they were missing the key element which obviously is Sam , I don’t get it don’t watch it what were they thinking left disappointed and waste of time

I loved the Haunting of Hill house so was excited when Bly manor came out what a disappointment....it only really gets going until episode 8....up to that point there’s nothing scary and it’s long winded tough going and it only got 2 stars because it’s slightly visual.....if I didn’t want to find out the main story I’d of switched off long before then
