I played and loved the first RDR, so it is with great surprise that I thoroughly did not enjoy RDR2. I would rate it 0 stars if I could. It has some of the most horrible mechanics ever seen in a game. For example, you are forced to sit through countless lines of poor dialogue, and if you die (for example, because you ran out of food or some dumb reason) you cannot save when you want, so you have to sit through all the dialogue AGAIN. The gun system is broken, you cannot pick the gun you want and walk without it defaulting to some other choice. The honor system is broken too, as killing those who would kill you reduces your honor. AND YOU CANNOT FAST TRAVEL. It forces you to wait until some point in the game, and even then full fast travel is never unlocked. Truly, a very poor piece of software. The graphics can be nice, if the game does not completely break down and crash for you, in which case it did for many.
