If I could give this film zero stars I truly would.

I personally love dark humour. I enjoy watching South Park, family guy and American dad, but Robot Chicken is terrible. There isn’t any obvious structure, they make fun of children’s toys (weird because they put a children’s theme into adult humour), and the voice castover is awful. Black comedy is good when it’s done in moderation, and it follows some kind of natural plot that relates to a central theme (so that the jokes displayed are in context), but Robot Chicken seems to feed off every dark concept there is (hard drugs, sex, murder, suicide etc), without actually being funny. Instead of making us laugh, Robot Chicken makes us feel disturbed, due to the randomness and sickness of its jokes. In other words, they emphasise darkness over humour, turning the show into a mess. Overall, Robot Chicken is a bunch of drug abusing, mentally unstable, swearing kids’ cartoon characters, making it a very bad cartoon indeed. If I could give one piece of advice, it would be not to watch this show.
