I was skeptical in watching this series as I have read the book several times. Already disappointed! In the first 10 minutes!! Thou the book has a long beginning, it sets the more dark context of the story. And one of the reasons why Eco was excommunicated from the church!!! Very few movie or series follow their books truly, but this on in itself is a heresy!

So very disappointed !!! I have read all the books of the Dune saga, even the prequels..and I have to say there are so many changes it was highly disappointing throughout the movie!!! The cinematography is well done, but I have to say, all the previous versions did a better job. I just hope they do a better job in part two!
