Because I am a Henry Cavill fan and do like fantasy, I decided to watch episode one of The Witcher and ended up binge watching the entire season. It started out a bit slow but found its rhythm. The only thing I did not love was the storyline jumping forward and back in time. "Time jumps" work for shows like "This is Us" because the characters look noticeably different - it was tough to tell the difference between past and present in The Witcher because the characters looked pretty much the same. Although I was a bit skeptical of Cavill pulling off the long white hair look as well as acting in the fantasy genre, I discovered that he was the perfect choice to play Geralt. I found myself wanting to watch more episodes at the end of season one.
