Maybe a tad slow in beginning but needed in this classical bit of story telling. Superbly crafted with an outstanding cast with great attention props and sets. Not to be left behind is the sweeping musical score setting a rich atmosphere of drama, horror, and fatality. Truly magnificent from one mans perspective. Take a date.

If this depiction has any reality, with the threat of an incoming ICBM, The United States would be truly screwed. Every level of our so well trained rehearsed defense operations are shown as incapable and unwilling to do the jobs and responsibilities invested in them. The fact the movie has no resolution both childish and chickenshit with many just pissed off they wasted their time on a vacuous tale. RR

So far, so not so good. Excuse me, what's this about? So slow moving the 1st few episodes at a stand still. The idea was to have action not posturing in front of the camera looking pathetic. Wendy's smirking when defending the Aliens reminiscent of a petulant left wing protester! The big problem here is not caring about any of these people. They can all be Xenomorph Fodder for all I care!

So Cornswet and Hoult hold their own admirably. That said, the rewriting liberty taken of the Superman Story appalling. In this version, he's the man of tin foil not steel and can't buy his way to win a fight. Buy definition Superman is invincible, does not bleed does not need air to breath. Henry Cavill's Superman exudes self confidence, problem solves geniusly, and finds ways not to overstep involving country's geo political landscapes. This Sup is worse than woke he's a downright pussy even when times are dire. In each instance we know what all the other versions would have done differently and with success. The whining adds to the debacle and when all said and done, we really don't care about any of it or them.

Really unforgiving reviews out there on this pretty attention getting mini movie. Each segment we'll acted by comfortable players some are damiliar faces. Murder mystery keeps you guessing. Beautifully filmed with good score, Santiago's character slight humor. Bana carries it well with qualified support by all. Binge it on 2 nights, you will enjoy.

Reviews overly critical back then. Just the filming of JB in bikini and wetsuit worth the watch. Underwater and nighttime parts quite thrilling and exciting. Bad guys really bad. Pretty good direction whoever the cat was. Top notch skilled actors bringing it.

I can't remember a more unlikable lead character in a movie. In any other setting this sheriff would have to vacate his employment being unwilling to defend, protect, and actively investigate super weird disturbing occurrences in the small town he lives in. Absolutely worthless cop that should have been eaten in the opening scene.

Aside for a bit on Tapas, most of this program showcases World Renowned Chefs preparing food less than 1% of viewers would partake or be interested in. With all the creativity we see from good Italian, Spanish and French Chefs some the hoopla surrounding fresh seafood, salt, and wood smoke. It just doesn't cut it when the price tag on these entrees bordering town fool Blvd. Or let's put 4 spots of moss of algae and moss on a plate the size of a pea and take a bow! Eva is the wrong celeb for this role with little eclectic food knowledge and more of a wine gravitated person. She's doing France next year. Just a headscratcher.

What startes as fun older rom/com drastically changes into a much sadder, darker film. Complete with witty comedic banter between our main characters played by Rex Harrison and the truly wonderful Gene Tierney we start off upbeat and expecting playful teasing the townfolk for The Capt a ghost only she can see. Then the movie turns as a scoundrel fiance enters the frame, the Capt abandons us til the end and her memories of the two erased. Just a Debbie downer of what could have been a much better tale if the Director and the storyline had the imagination.

Really awful flick on many counts. What began as somewhat suspenseful and obvious artifical comradery between Russian and American astronauts, this movie sank into boring long winded conversations. Like a cold war tale of the past, the Russian Crew depicted as conspiring and diabolical as events turn south. The most entertaining characters killed off systematically leaving the most ruthless and dull actors to finish the tale. The viewer is expected to digest the theory that all these lifelong scientists are murderers at heart, complete with a DBL Agent Spy imbedded in the American Crew. Russians bad guys, Americans good guys pretty outdated mentality here. The ending provides little appeasement in this ridiculous storyline.
