Strange film. Can’t seem to decide if it wants to be funny or serious. So much so towards the climax, it literally alternates between party music and a mother trying to kill her baby. I am not exaggerating. Overall it was enjoyable, but some very odd choices in places, and scenes you just wonder, why put that in?

A big mess of a film, full of Illogical and undesirable ‘plot twists’. Is it really that hard to write a decent Star Wars story? The big mistake of the trilogy seems to have been writing them all separately. There’s no real connection between them. Nothing is allowed to build up, as in the original trilogy. Hence the desperate last minute change of bad guy. I will give it one credit. It’s hard to make something both illogical and predictable and yet, they managed it.
