I gave it a shot because of Elizabeth Banks but I honestly didn’t enjoy it. I only saw like 45 minutes and then turned it off. If it wasn’t meant to be funny then ok at least interest me with thrill and it didn’t do either. O’Shea Jackson can’t act, he was hard to believe. The mother looking for her daughter didn’t seem to scared a coked out bear kidnapped her daughter. The acting was just ridiculous. The only part I found maybe funny/ interesting was the park ranger who had a “love” interest who was quickly mauled to death so there went that. It wasn’t funny and none of the characters were memorable or believable.

I saw this movie at the drive in last night, during this movie about 5 cars drove out and left. I go to the drive in every time a new movie comes out and I’ve never seen so many cars leave during a movie. I honestly wish it was me who left, but my husband wanted to see it til the end. I personally didn’t understand the first scene and I was completely annoyed with John David Washington’s acting, that I just stopped paying attention. He has a blank stare with every word that comes out if his mouth, absolutely no expression. Who hired this man? I can get into a movie that’s futuristic and strange but a movie like this where it makes no sense from the get go, and the acting is terrible, I just can’t follow.

I didn’t finish the movie, decided to watch this at home with my man. We expected to see how he grew up, how he started singing and all that good stuff a biography has. Well this movie was just clips of him singing, small 2 second scenes before it jumps to the next. I wanted to love this movie but I couldn’t get on board with it. This movie was all over the place, and it didn’t bring you into his world on that deep level like Bohemian Rhapsody did with Freddy Mercury. I knew more about Tom Hanks character the first half hour, then I did about a Elvis’s character. Elvis got into drugs but did they get deep into the story? Not really, they just showed a 2 second clip of someone giving him a pill and I guess that was supposed to depict he was using now. Then it jumps to another scene, and that’s basically how this movie goes. Wasted my time.

Russell Crowe did a good job of scaring me and making me hate him, so that’s some good acting! But that main Character Rachel, was bland and emotionless. When the killer is threatening to kill your brother over the phone you scream and cry and are inconsolable, Rachel on the other hand was asking Russel to please not do anything to her brother. In every scene where someone she cares about gets hurt, she gives off the same emotionless face, no tears no nothing. This woman had to have been hired for sleeping with a top executive or something because the acting skills are not there.

A bugs life, the live action movie! Seriously. Honestly this movie has too many characters and so many different plots, is it about the bugs? Is it about the clone girl or is it about blues daughter? Somehow they made it more about the bugs then anything else. The story line should have revolved around the dinosaurs! This movie has dinosaurs in it but it didn’t feel like it was about them. Blue and baby blue barely came out as well. Owen Grady, did not shine in this movie. I feel like there wasn’t even any comedy relief, it was just bland. Don’t get me started on Ian, his acting was so boring. He was calm during moments where he needed to panic, his sarcasm was weird. I didn’t enjoy his nonchalant acting. I give 2 stars because I love Chris Pratt and because Blue and her baby are adorable, that Is all.

I loved this movie! It was exciting to see how much they actually incorporated from the actual Disneyland attraction. The story line was good, it could have been a bit more thrilling but to be honest I liked it still. It was spooky and the graphics and overall set was beautiful. It’s a movie that I will definitely be rewatching especially during spooky Halloween season. I preferred this version to the Eddie Murphy version and I thought the main guy who plays Ben did a great job. I loved the random scenes of him screaming like a girl. And Owen Wilson was hilarious.

Spoiler alert. I hate to say this but I HATED this movie and I’m a huge fan of the first two movies. This film made me so uncomfortable and it was really dark. The film was basically all about Rocket and how he was tortured the first half of his life. I get it, maybe start the movie like that. Show us 15 minutes, but this went on for the WHOLE film!!! The whole movie was SAD!! The animals that were tortured alongside Rocket scared me! I was so uncomfortable watching the scenes with Rocket and his friends, that I had to look away for most of it. They almost looked and acted like they were in a looney bin. Aside from that horrendous mess, Peter could not for the life of him get over the whole Gamora situation. Which I understand he loved her, but he wouldn’t let it go and some how always brought it up throughout the whole movie like a broken record. Which by the way she never falls for him again and for the most part she’s mean and doesn’t even belong in this movie. The jokes in this movie feel forced, when in the first movie they felt more natural. The profanity is slap in your face crazy. The dog Cosmo looks like a dog in a costume with no real exciting purpose. The music!! Oh for the love of god the music was awful. The music added to the depression of all the animal abuse. It just made the movie feel more depressing! At the end Rocket almost dies and goes to heaven to join his creepy friends from the torture lab, but his guardians family saves him and at the end of it all they don’t even stay with Rocket. They all separate from each other and go their own ways. Why did they even save him? lol they should have just let him go to heaven with his friends. Instead of leaving the theater happy like I did with the other two movies, I left depressed, sad and very uncomfortable. I felt like I had to watch some cartoons getting home so that I wouldn’t have nightmares.
