One person walked out in the first 10 minutes. I wish I had followed her lead so I could have gotten my money back! I stayed until mid-movie. Too drawn out--disconnected scenes--too many stereotypical scenes. I chose to see this movie because I love Viola Davis and Liam Neesom. I don't think this portrayed either in a good role.
And as a white woman I don't think it portrayed accurately the black community. Yes, I know some of what was in the movie exists--I'm not that stupid--but I do think it was grossly overplayed.
