Excellent show. Wonderful acting. I loved learning about the genesis of football (or as we say in the US, soccer!) in England when it was an amateur sport and how it became the football of today! It was particularly meaningful to me given that I was born in a country where football was the dominant sport and my father was an incredible football player in his day. Beyond the football, the intimate stories of the lives of "ordinary folk" compared with aristocracy, were fascinating, heartfelt and so compelling
