this game made a ton of fun improvements but cut a ton of corners and made unnecessary additions: Good: 1. Goalie stamina and puck pressure is good for gameplay… can be annoying to deal with but forces good gameplay 2. graphics are much improved and the game feels smooth… much better physics based gameplay Bad: 1. unnecessary additions such as broken glass and stupid celebration animations 2. Franchise and Be A Pro remain unchanged… Be A Pro has a terrible terrible menu screen and you cannot even check trade or league news, nor can you negotiate your contract in the offseason with a team. Just terrible

I’m purely giving this a 1 star due to the horrible soundtrack. The past years have been good but this year is awful. Gameplay is better by a little bit feels more realistic other than defensive positioning. The AI defend have no clue how to angle players down boards, seal the wall, cut the seams, etc. The amount of 2 on 1 that happen due to bad defensive positioning is atrocious. Horrible defensive programming. And the hitting is unrealistic. The dump and chase method is gone it’s impossible. Poor game and I would be patient. The Be a Pro talk between coach and player is super annoying and makes no sense.

Horrible game. Waste of money. The glitches r better than the game. Even if u have the urge to buy it u will regret spending that $60 especially since there r other gr8 games to buy. EA products have failed continuously
