I rate this third of five Indy movies. The female lead did not do it for me. She said lines but no chemistry with the cast. The movie contained similar Chase scenes emulating previous Indy movies. Nothing original to keep the audience attention. For 300 million the writers could have done better. There is nothing worse than tried and couldn’t, this movie couldn’t and gets mediocre review, it’s not going to get additional viewings as Indy 1 and 3 generated. This is a one show movie.

Whoever dreamed up this style to broadcast the news should look for employment elsewhere. It’s comical to watch three professional hosts clutch their papers so as not to talk with their hands. What exactly is on the sheets? Then after sometimes only relaying a single item they walk off to where ? Exactly! Three hosts, three styles , disjointed broadcast. This looks like a grammar school production, no offense to grammar school children doing pretend shows. How long will CNN stay with this loser…..?

As a retired air traffic controller the depiction of the air traffic service was full of false actions by the ATCS and the entire way air traffic is controlled in real life. The makers of this phoney drama should be held accountable for the poor research and consulting if they even had any aviation expert advising them. First the controller should have never been alone in the tower, especially if he had radar approach responsibility in addition to tower at a airport with commercial flights. Second, if the controller had to coordinate using a telephone he would have had the ATC frequency on speaker so he could monitor the frequency. There was TCAS onboard the two aircraft which already had given the pilots avoidance guidance to prevent a mid air. The entire accident scenario was a misrepresentation of how the system works.
