Sunday, Sept. 12 . . . I'm watching Trey Gowdy, he just recalled his memory of seeing a young boy (with a backpack bigger than he was) walking along a road where, as Trey said, no one should be walking. I was moved to tears as I listened to Trey convey the feelings he had as he talked to the young boy, letting him know he wouldn't hurt him, but asked if he would like a ride. Trey explained his daughter went to the same school he was walking to, but that he would never make it in time if he walked all that way. The boy did get into Trey's car and Trey delivered him safely to his school.
Trey is only one of many people I see & listen to on Fox & Newsmax, but he's the only one who conveys his feelings with such heartfelt compassion and I love him for being one of God's very dear & special creations. I'm 82 yrs. old and feel I no longer relate to anything in today's world because of the intense evil & hate that has seemingly overcome America. Trey is a gift to me every time I hear/see him and I wish I could tell him that in person. I look forward to his Sunday program every week; I would like to give him a big thank you hug.
