I'm here to drop my two cents right after watching the movie online.
It's a beautiful work visually of course- but its also so much more - its starts out with irrational hormonal love , shifts to dirty politics and ends with a soul-wrenching tragedy.
During the second half , the movie transcends into plot twists, people dynamics, and so much more than you sign up for initially ( I thought it was just two lovesick humans trying to get it on formerly ) .
The end is not just deeply saddening - its breaks your heart because of the build-up and the fact that there was still time to make things right but a very strong ending that leaves the message resonating louder - that the loss of hope is the loss of everything.
SPOILER WARNING
There are times in the movie you find yourself amazed at how well-rounded they movie is and how the themes intersect at every turn . I especially love how the same places that initially signify something else end up being a set for a totally different , contrasting scene later on -
Example- like how where the lovers initially meet up on late nights is also where they kill themselves eventually.
