It's really coming along. I wasn't too enthusiastic at first, but yesterday they released the raid along with the Vex Offensive and another strike(bringing the total of new strikes to 3 so far).
Lately they've developed a new motus operandi called "trickle of content " where they release content gradually instead of dumping it all out right away... so anybody giving negative reviews based on lack of content at the moment is trying to fool you.
