This is one of my favorite comic book movies. I can’t how many times I laughed, Zachary Levi steals the show every second. This guy is one of the best parts of the film, just from his great childish charm and committed performance. What’s incredible is how fresh this is, from the characters to the writing. These actors have great chemistry and charisma. Mark Strong in particular does incredible as the central villain. You immediately see why and how he is, but you still won’t be able to sympathize with how much of a monster he is. The emotional moments are well done, though are somewhat weak at points. The worst part is how some things drag on, especially in the beginning. Though, I’d say the final fight in the film is just incredible with how epic, yet simple it is. I highly recommend this movie due to the simple, heartfelt, amazing, zany, achingly funny, and magnificent film that will leave you satisfied.

It was good. The action, set designs, and costumes were incredible! This is a movie you want to see in 3D or IMAX, but regular seating is just as good. The movie was honestly predictable, but still enjoyable. I honestly enjoy the main cast of characters, with my favorite being Black Manta and all of his bad-assery. While Momoa’s Arthur is pretty good, he is still kind of a bland-but likable-main lead. Wilson’s Orm was the same, a bland but good-enough villain. All these factors make it leagues beyond that $&!+hole that Justice League was. James Wan does an overall great job making this movie a great watch. I’d give the movie a 7.4 overall, but a 9.3 for enjoyability and overall effort

I liked it. It’s not amazing, but it certainly is not bad. We get the Avengers, some new and old characters, a legitimately good villain, and some genuine improvements. Granted, it is kind of shallow, but nowhere near souless (Justice League 2017). Age of Ultron at its best is a great movie and a worthy sequel, but at worst it is a forgettable film. So in between, it’s a weekend movie with some takeout. Imagine it like leftover pizza, but with some added spices and an appetizer. It may not catch the same taste and delight as the original, but that does not mean it cannot be enjoyed.
