The music is fun, but Betty Hutton’s overacting ruined it for me. I’m glad I’ve seen her in other things or I wouldn’t know that she wasn’t a rank amateur. I have to assume she was performing as directed, but then I have to wonder what on earth the director was doing wasting a talent like hers.
