I thought it was boring and unrealistic. Too much time spent on the little rescue boat. The young man dies on that boat from a head injury does nothing for the film. Tom Hardy flies one of only 3 Spitfires that the RAF has on the day. Germans have a few planes. Nothing shown how the beached soldiers were fed. The long glide of the Spitfire above the beach wouldnt be possible. I'm a pilot and know it would have been like a brick without engine power. I'll stop now. Overall, very disappointing film.
