I felt that it was a rather abbreviated version of the battles he covered. He left off the greater part of the battle for Peleliu, the capture of the mountainous sections beyond the airfield.. He totally left out that John Basilone was the first Marine to receive the Medal of Honor in the battle for Guadalcanal. Basilone was the first anyone to receive a Medal of Honor in the Pacific. Based on the facts that he left out such major items it makes me wonder what else he may have skimmed over or left out.
