Me and my family were so excited to watch the new Mulan. Mulan is probably one of my favorite disney princess movies so I was couldn’t wait for it to come out. But I have to say I was very disappointed. I knew going into it that Mushu was not going to be in it but had no idea they were not doing the songs. First, I think it was just really dry. In the cartoon they have humor from the cricket, Mushu, the friends at camp, The Matchmaker and the gramma. The Gramma is probably my favorite character in all disney movies, when i watched it and saw she was not in it i knew i wasn’t going to like it, so you could probably imagine my disappointment. Plus they didn’t even have the commander/Mulan’s husband in the movie. AND NO SONGS?!?! That’s like the best part!..... And the hawk/witch?? That took a really dark turn in a children’s movie. I did not like it one bit. I think disney definitely lowballed with this movie. I think it was a waste of $30 most definitely.
