The movie was disappointing. Character development was poor. Randeep Hooda and Chris Hemsworth have acted well but others seem to be novice actors. The teenage boy fails to elicit any emotion and his sense of connection with his 'saviour' hasn't been established or developed in the movie. It seems like a cliche movie plot. The director, art director, costume designers fail to understand how the elite in India and Bangladesh dress. Introduction of the characters except for Chris hemsworth is very brief and doesn't give a chance for the audience to connect. The rivalry Between the two drug lords hasn't been established well. There were so many opportunities for the director to create a nuianced and poignant film but it almost seems like the plot was written so a lot of action sequences could be added in it.
Pluses are ofcourse Randeep Hooda and Chris Hemsworth. Movie attempts to break linguistic and geographical barriers. The action is really good.
