I remember the first time I heard those creepy blood curdling screams coming from the Vortex Rikers....I thought I was gonna die...it creeped me out... Back when Fortnite was not a thing and Epic Games where able to make a scary experience become a reality....this game was it.... It was a lot of fun in single player mode though! I remember the enemies were scary challenging and really were no joke in trying to kill you...plus they used tactics and took cover back then....not like with games now not being challenging anymore.... Unreal 2 sucked though and did not have a good story gameplay or theme to make you like it....this game was and still is my favorite game to this day.... Please Epic Megagames please remaster this game like Turok 2.... I would really love for it to happen!

After playing through both Duke3D and Shadow Warrior....Blood was the next game I was to tackle on and sadly to say it was amazing..... Unlike Duke3D and Shadow Warrior....Blood has a very dark tone and theme reminicist of the 1920s 1950s and 1940s....the game also has many references to horror movies like Friday The 13th....Nightmare On Elm Street.... Rosemarys Baby and more....I won't spoil them all for you but they are all there.... Blood is also arguably one of the most violent and goriest games I have ever played....to this day it's no surprise that congress did not mention it at all but even it makes Doom look like a kids game....Enemies will spurt fountains of blood when you shoot them and even some will make horrifying sounds when lit on fire... definitely a disturbing and adult game that is not recommend for kids..... There is a story and it revolves around the undead gunslinger Caleb taking his revenge after he is killed off by the dark God ChernoBog whom he once served...the story is good later on but I won't spoil the rest for you.... The weapons enemies and environments in this game have been fully recreated and done in 3D under the Ken Silverman Build engine so when you see a tombstone or anything else like a door it's all fully 3d! Never have I been ever impressed with a game then this one.... The sounds and atmosphere of the game can still be felt 13 years later as I load it up in Dosbox and play through it again...Although the horror theme and feel of the game still gets me everytime....Blood is everything I need it to be....Shocking violent and very fast paced then most 90s shooter games combined..... They made a sequel to this called Blood 2 The Chosen but it was weak....did not have too many jumpscares and lacked what the first Blood had in comparison.... The multiplayer maybe is what people played back in the day but I prefer the awesome singleplayer mode of this game....I love it and recommend to anyone to try this game out in singleplayer mode....it's very challenging....you will not be disappointed.....thanks Monolith for this....you guys never disappoint us the fans ever....

This is and was my first superhero game that I played the demo version to back in the day in Fry's Electronics and I will say it was awesome back then and still is now.... I've always liked Batman...I don't know why...maybe that suit he wears...maybe the gadgets he uses to takedown bad guys with.....or maybe it's his dark and creepy voice that he uses to instill fear into criminals..either way he is cool in so many interesting ways.... The full version happened when I asked my dad nicely to get it for me...at first he did not know what this game was but now he does and I enjoy playing through the whole game because it's a lot of fun to play.... The stealth takedowns are also my favorite part in the game because Batman leaps into the air and silently takes out the criminals without making too much noise.... There's also the challenge mode which got me into playing both predator and stealth sections in minutes....I had a lot of fun doing so and recommend for you to try them out too...they are a lot of fun for new beginners! There is also a story single player campaign mode with both Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy doing the voices for both Batman and Joker....it's amazing that two great actors can still make a game like this amazing again....I won't spoil the rest so you will have to play it to find out why it's really good.... While this game is a lot of fun....it's sequel which is Batman Arkham City has more interesting gameplay and the story continues in it so if you have played this before then you might like the sequel..... Definitely buy this game if you like Batman and want to play as the caped crusader...I highly recommend getting this game for the pc because it is still the best game on the franchise....Rock steady definitely nailed this one.....

Doom 3 was also the last game by id software to use a brand new engine and just like quake 4 and wolfenstein 2009 it also did not disappoint me, the horror atmosphere, the action and the better storytelling really makes you feel like you are on Mars, the enemies are back and the creepiness factor is also 100% there! When I played this game, I fell in love with it because as a huge doom fan, I loved the original dooms and had to play doom 3 which was way better then those games but had something that the classics did not have, it had an eerie atmosphere filled with death horror and dread, doom 3 also has a deep story that again I dont wanna spoil in these reviews because if you have not played the game then you should, just saying spoilers and spoiling the game for others would be a bad idea so I recommend that people play the game before they know the story,although doom 1 and doom 2 took the spotlight, doom 3 in 2004 was something else entirely, because while fighting all these hellish looking monsters in the invasion,it made it feel more realistic, doom 3 is one of my other favorite games and is definitely the reason why you should purchase this game, it has a good singleplayer mode and will keep you enjoying the game from start to finish,it definitely satisfied me,

Wolfenstein 2009 is an awesome game, dont listen to people who say that this game is not good, they are lying,the singleplayer mode is an awesome experience,you go between hubs doing missions for both the Krisau Circle and the Golden Dawn,the enemies are back and are just as challenging to fight as before wolf3d and rtcw and the characters are amazing too,I've only played this on pc too, but I will say that unless you are a fan of the franchise then you will appreciate this, I think the reason most people dont like this game, is because it's too difficult in so many areas,while I died many times in this game, I still went through it fighting nazis and using the thule medallion,it reminds me a little bit of max payne and f.e.a.r. because of the slow time effect but otherwise it's a good game,I went into this game expecting cod but what I got was an incredible experience, the last best game too by id software and boy they do not disappoint, I won't spoil the story for any of you guys so you will have to play it to know the story,but overall it's a fun experience and I recommend to those who are looking for a challenge

Rtcw is also one of my other favorite singleplayer fpses, The reason this game is still good today is because of the singleplayer experience, the soundtrack, the atmosphere,the enemy a.i. and overall the pace and feel of the game, The new order may have referenced this game and may have been better,but rtcw is my nostalgia and my favorite memory of all time,killing nazis again in a castle that almost looks real is realistic enough for me, the game even references many old nazi movies as well, While it is a long fun and challenging game, it took me many hours to finish this game, and enemies will sometimes avoid your shots or grenades most of the time, I think anybody who grew up in 2001 will definitely want to check this game out! I may have been born in 1996 but the feel,fast placed gameplay and story are enough to keep me wanting more from this game, I highly recommend to id software fans,

It's okay in my opinion! Just like quake 3, I tried to play with other players but there was no one to play with, The game does not follow a singleplayer story and was made as an addon for rtcw, that game was better because it had a good singleplayer campaign, but this game was made without a story in mind and both developers wanted people to just enjoy a good multiplayer experience, Just like quake 3 and etqw you could play as an engineer, medic and a technician, you also had to complete objectives for different maps which would include your teammates and other people as well and try to defend that base as well, While many consider rtcw to be a true sequel to the wolfenstein franchise, this game also set up shop with its gameplay and content, If you are a fan of multiplayer shooters then buy this game,otherwise dont even bother getting this, like me you will be disappointed to play the multiplayer and it turns out that its not as good as rtcw,

This is also an amazing quake game, the first time I saw that it gave you a chance to play as the strogg, I was also hooked, I started playing as the alien antagonists and was hooked into it when I started playing it, Id software and Activision partnered together to create a game that gives you the freedom to play as either the gdf forces or the strogg forces, in other words, what I mean to say is that I played this game on my computer and have not looked back since then, While the demo version of this game only gives you a couple of small levels to play in, It was the full version that made me excited to go through the whole game, the singleplayer campaign has levels ranging from Africa to Russia to Alabama to more levels in between, you also can play as the engineer, technician, and medic if you want to revive fallen soldiers, The whole game also gives you the option to defend your territory from enemy alien forces which makes it even more fun, the gameplay,objectives, and even playing as the strogg is what made it more fun, In addition to all of this,etqw when compared to games like cod and battlefield makes it a really fun experience to play and experience, the game may be outdated by other games for its time,but back then this was awesome and still is if you like military strategy games,
