Beautiful story, beautifully casted cast, amazing soundtrack, and overall hilarious and heart touching film about accepting yourself and someone’s past for just what the past is.. the past. Teaches the lesson of loving someone for who they are not what they’ve done before meeting you. Rotten tomatoes never gives the best movies a logical rating, but take it from a guy that has watched countless movies they’ve rated 60% fresh and above that attempted to give me the heart surge this “56%” rated movie gave me.

Okay so like, this isn't getting a final star only because of the sickening feeling it gave me through the first two acts of the film. The way these monsters treated the innocent woman bothered me. And I honestly don't think it deserves the 5th star only because its not a fun movie to watch all the way through like Halloween or The Shining are. This is a rare and nasty type of horror that although does entertain in some aspects (revenge parts), theres no wonder it got negative reviews from the ruthless critics known as Rotten Tomatoes (whom I strongly don't agree with most of the time). The 1st star is definitely earned through cinematography 2nd is earned through the ability to give me the heart wrenching feeling I got through the intense acting done by the cast 3rd With such a low budget, they managed to entertain me 4th The lead role being as beautiful and nice in the first half really sells her character arc making any normal person see what something like this can drive someone's mentality into Final verdict: The film is a 4/5 from me for what it was. Do I recommend it? Honestly for most... no. But if you're a hardcore horror fan...probably.

This movie is not only one of my favs on Netflix, but the loving relationship Cole has with Phoebe NEEDS to be explored more in the third film. Cole and Phoebe connect to each other on a personal basis and relate on several levels. What some outsider fans may think this lacks, the die hard fans like myself will love this one just as good if not more than the first especially with the great acting done by Judah and Jenna. On another note I would really hope to see more practical effects in a third film instead of the cgi from the second film. In short - This film, its plot, its endgame couple, music, references, comedy and everything gets a perfect 5 from me.
