I just watched this movie on Netflix and I just have to say I’m in tears. It’s an emotional rollercoaster, makes you love to the main character more than your own mother and hate the bad guy like Satan himself. I don’t think I’ve hated a character more than him. And I’m just in awe of how fantastic it was. I thought it couldn’t get worse than being stranded at sea. But oh boy I was wrong. The prison and the mistreatment. And then at the end how he won by simply staying strong. That moment of disbelief in the villains eyes and how he became bitter was fantastic. A movie of true will power and hope. How he just kept going wow. And I praise the actors for going above on beyond to dangerous limits for their roles and sacrificing their own bodies. Oscar worthy performance. It makes you realise so much more about ww2. And how there were unknown heroes fighting the hardest battle. To survive and have faith. 100% recommend and I promise you’ll be in tears at the end.
