This movie was very much in the design of Dennis Villeneuve. He does a good job with the scaling and size of the ships, the planets, the people. The story is well developed and true enough to the book. While it may seem drawn out at some points, the small details could become critically important in part two (assuming it gets made). Overall, the movie was extremely enjoyable. Having read the story multiple times and seen other versions of the retelling of Frank Herbert's classic, it seems to me that this movie was done in a manner that Mr. Herbert would appreciate and respect.
