I really enjoy the way these characters are portrayed in keeping with modern times, a happily married homosexual couple, wanting to have a child and struggling with a system not designed to assist them to adopt and a female Police Officer totally involved in her demanding work whilst in a new relationship with a very masculine undercover agent, who is finding himself as the one left waiting at home while she works long, unpredictable hours Role reversals so well done. No sordid sex scenes with either of these couples. This show is entertaining and will go a long way in softening attitudes and raising awareness of modern issues without labouring any points. I even enjoy the reruns, something which I have never done before. Well worth a watch. Start at the beginning though as the story line follows on. I hope this show runs for a long time.
