The time has come to cancel Critiques ! I watched the movie yesterday, just happened to be at the mall and wanted to break the 2 year no-movie-theatre spell. I had no idea Morbius was out, saw it at the ticket counter and immediately bought the tickets. While I was inside the theatre waiting for the movie to begin, I looked up reviews and to my alarm, it had a horrible horrible rating, a mere 4 point something. I quickly looked for audience reviews and it was such a stark contrast. I relaxed a little and went in still afraid, but hopeful and to my surprise, I F***'N LOVED IT!!! Jared Leto was AMAZING! I wish it lasted longer though. It was only one hour and 44 minutes. It was engaging from start to finish. If one overlooks some of the logical flaws that super-hero movies have, about the way they get their powers, one can truly enjoy what the movie offers, especially at a time like this. Getting super powers from a bat when the whole world is experiencing chaos at the expense of the very same species. That was the only thing that bothered me slightly during the movie. Other than that, I think it's totally watchable. It's SO NOT Bad, the way the critiques are making it out to be. I hope the ratings get better once most of the general public has seen it. Here's hoping... And another FYI, it's a little dark for an MCU movie, but it's refreshing. We're getting to see many more Marvel heroes and anti-heroes, so I appreciate the opportunity to witness new characters from MARVEL. It has 2 mid-credit scenes btw, no post-credit scenes, in case people were wondering, like I did towards the end of the movie.
