Graphics and controls were improved, but the story and your favorite characters were butchered, literally. Joel gets killed while playing a game of golf and doesn’t act like himself, sharing his name with strangers unlike his carefulness in the first game. Sharing his name obviously gets him killed - and I should add that his death was undeserved and unbelievably cruel, ruined my day. Game is nothing like the first game where you have a story between Joel and Ellie, rather it is a bleak story of revenge no one asked for. Also.. you play as Joel’s killer! WHAT?? I wouldn’t want play as the killer of the character I played as and grew to love in the first game. Stoopid game.
