This is a highly compelling series. It is well-acted and holds multiple views from various perspectives considering the personalities involved. Clarice is an insider in some respects, as she has the experience and intelligence to do her job but she is an outsider on her team as she holds no power and does not make friends easily. The constraint that she is expected to endure causes her to make risky moves without backup and she perpetually puts herself in dangerous situations but she is respected for her bravery and brilliance.
